Your files never leave your computer. All file processing happens locally in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit your images or ZIP files.

Who we are

Printable Prep is a free tool that checks and fixes digital download files for Etsy sellers. It is built and operated by S39 Labs. You can reach us at contact@s39labs.com.

What we collect

We collect two types of information, and only in limited circumstances.

Your email address. When you download a fixed file for the first time, we ask for your email address so we can let you know when new features (like batch processing) launch. You only need to enter it once per browser. We store it in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on return visits. We also send it to Mailchimp, our email platform, to add you to our mailing list.

Usage data via Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Printable Prep - things like which pages are visited and how long people stay. Google Analytics collects anonymous data such as your approximate location (country/city level), browser type, and device type. It does this using cookies. No information that identifies you personally is collected through Analytics.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect, see, or store any of the files you upload. Everything runs in your browser. When you drop a file into Printable Prep, it is processed entirely on your own computer and never sent to any server.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure traffic and usage patterns. These are standard analytics cookies used by millions of websites. We do not set any other cookies. If you prefer not to be tracked by Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Local storage

When you enter your email address, we save a small flag in your browser's local storage (pp_email_given) so we do not show the email prompt again. This data stays on your device and is never sent anywhere except when you first submit your email.

Third-party services

Google Analytics - collects anonymous usage data. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Mailchimp - stores your email address when you sign up. Mailchimp's privacy policy is at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your email from our mailing list at any time by emailing contact@s39labs.com or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send you. To clear the local storage flag in your browser, open your browser's developer tools and clear site data for printableprep.com.

Children

Printable Prep is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Printable Prep after changes means you accept the updated policy.
