Printable Prep is a free, browser-based file checking and fixing tool. All file processing happens entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Who we are

Printable Prep is a free utility tool built and operated by S39 Labs. The tool helps Etsy sellers and print-on-demand creators check and fix their digital download files before uploading them to marketplaces. You can reach us at contact@s39labs.com.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Printable Prep at printableprep.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the site.

Description of the service

Printable Prep provides the following free services:

Checking image files for size (flagging files over 20MB)
Checking image DPI and warning if resolution may produce blurry prints
Converting oversized PNG files to optimised JPG format
Splitting ZIP files into ratio-sorted packs (2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 1:1)
Converting TIFF and WebP files to JPG format

All processing is performed locally in your web browser using JavaScript. No file data is transmitted to external servers. The service is provided free of charge and without any subscription or account requirement.

Your files and intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all files you use with Printable Prep. Because all processing happens in your browser, we never receive, access, store, or transmit your files. We make no claim to any intellectual property rights over any content you process through the tool.

You are responsible for ensuring that any files you process do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. Printable Prep is not responsible for the content of the files you process.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Printable Prep only for lawful purposes. You must not use the tool:

To process files that contain illegal content or that you do not have the right to use
To attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically copy the tool or its underlying code
To attempt to interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the website
In any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

Free tier and limitations

Printable Prep is currently free to use, with a limit of one file processed at a time. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, usage limits, or a subscription tier in the future. Any such changes will be announced in advance, and the core single-file functionality may remain free at our discretion.

No warranty

Printable Prep is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the tool will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any file conversion or processing will produce a result that is accepted by any particular marketplace or printing service.

File size limits, format requirements, and DPI standards set by Etsy, Redbubble, Merch by Amazon, or other third-party platforms may change at any time. Always verify the current requirements of the platform you are uploading to. We are not responsible for files that are rejected by third-party platforms after processing through Printable Prep.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, S39 Labs and Printable Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Third-party services

Printable Prep uses Google Analytics to measure anonymous usage data and Google AdSense to display advertisements. These services are provided by third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. By using Printable Prep, you acknowledge that these third-party services may collect data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Printable Prep after any changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Printable Prep shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
